About us:
DeltaStream is a serverless streaming data platform company that empowers organizations to unlock real-time intelligence from their data. With DeltaStream Fusion, teams can unify streaming, real-time, and batch workflows within a single, easy-to-use platform—eliminating tool sprawl, cutting costs, and enabling faster data-to-action insights. Fusion integrates with popular streaming storage systems and features a powerful SQL interface for seamless data processing.
About the Role:
DeltaStream is looking for a hands-on, high-impact Technical Product Marketing Leader who can translate deep tech into compelling stories that win hearts and minds. You’ll shape how we talk about our product, why it matters, and how it solves real-world data headaches—especially for teams navigating the shift from batch to streaming. If you’re equal parts strategist, writer, technologist, and campaign builder, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Own Positioning That Clicks: Craft messaging that makes sense to technical decision-makers—from VPs of Data to product engineers. Clearly articulate DeltaStream’s value around speed, simplicity, and cost-efficiency. Adapt our story across verticals without watering it down.
- Create Content That Converts: Lead the charge on content strategy, from hands-on blog posts and thought leadership to demo scripts, white papers, and decks. Collaborate with content contributors (internal and external) to keep assets sharp, useful, and always on-brand.
- Map the Market: Keep a pulse on trends in data streaming, ETL/ELT, cloud platforms, and analytics. Know what competitors are saying and where we can stand out. Feed insights back into product, sales, and leadership.
- Drive Go-To-Market: Partner with product, sales, and revenue operations to launch features, support campaigns, and build technical narratives that resonate. Make sure product releases actually land with the right audience.
- Power Sales with the Right Tools: Build pitch decks, product one-pagers, ROI calculators, and battlecards that help our GTM team close deals. Train the team so they speak confidently and clearly about what makes DeltaStream different.
- Be the Voice of DeltaStream: Speak at events, join webinars, and support media interviews as needed. If you love talking about why streaming data doesn’t have to be hard or expensive, you’ll fit right in.
- Measure and Iterate: Collaborate with revenue operations to gather and analyze data to understand what content and messaging is working. Double down on what lands and tweak what doesn’t. Tools like GA, HubSpot, and SEO platforms should already be in your toolkit.
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in technical product marketing or developer marketing
- Understanding of real-time data, streaming architectures, or modern data stacks (Flink, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.)
- Proven ability to market to technical buyers (VP Data, PMs, Architects)
- Strong writing skills—you know how to make even niche features sound relevant and valuable
- Experience managing contractors or content teams, with a knack for editorial oversight
- Familiarity with SEO, lead gen, and performance analytics tools
- A builder’s mindset: you’re ready to experiment, learn fast, and iterate
- Bonus: background in developer relations or solutions engineering standards.
